SAPPHIRE Villa

Yucatan, Mexico's Gulf Coast

About the Villa

Our home is right on the beach.  You may want to wake up and have an early morning swim in the beautiful gulf waters.  The gulf is very calm in the morning.  Drink coffee on the terrace and watch the seagulls and pelicans welcome the day.  A good sized iguana who lives between our home and the one next door may decide to sun himself.

Most of the year you’ll experience this in complete privacy save a few lone beach-walkers and some fishermen.  The same abundant shells that are on the gulf coast of Florida are here and looking for shells may be your early morning pursuit.  You won’t find tourists here.  This is a small Mayan fishing village almost forgotten by time.  This is a place to relax.  Read the books you’ve never had time to read (or take the time to do some writing, art work, or needlework), nap in the hammock on the terrace, stroll into the village and practice your Spanish.

By the way….stairs lead to the roof for even more private sunbathing if you desire.

Just relax.......
